XX907 GREEN/GREEN CAMO

First Flight: 23 May 1973. Eighth to fly.

Purpose: Pre-production. Used predominantly for engine develpment with Rolls Royce.

Fate: Moved to Patchway, Bristol early in its test life. By 1982 it was moved to Farnborough and then moved to Foulness with DRA in 1990. It moved back to Farnborough in 1995. In 2003 it went back to Yeovil to be stripped of any useful spares so XX153 could be refurbished. In 2011 it was moved to a scrapyard in Stafford before being scrapped in 2013. As can be seen from the photo, the fuselage was fairly complete as it lay on the scrap pile. A real shame it couldn't have been saved.
